America’s favorite animated series The Boondocks is returning with Season 3 on March 28th. That means its about that time for hip hop fans because the Hip Hop Docktrine series is due for another installment. With Hip Hop Docktrine Vol. 3: The Final Chapter coming soon, Dub Floyd and Wally Sparks along with HighOffLife.com, illroots.com & ilovethehype.com wanted to give the fans of the series a little treat until Vol. 3 is finally released. “On My Way Up” which is produced by Djay Cas features Central PA’s spokesman Phene & West Coast heavyweight Jay Rock, accompanied by soothing vocals from Wil Guice. The song takes you on a reflective journey acknowledging the struggles of the past, yet accepting what the future holds. Phene’s debut LP, High Off Life, is currently being recorded in Atlanta, GA & is slated for 2010 release.
