Mike told me a little about this song when I ran into him at the Wiz Khalifa/Yelawolf show last Thursday. This song is truly “gangsta” from start to finish as he speaks on everything from your favorite rappers emulating Italians and Columbians mobsters that don’t even like “negro” to what lawyers you should hire when you get jammed up.

Historical Night in Atlanta Hip-hop w/ KRS One

Man, I can’t begin to tell you how dope this concert was last night @ the Loft in Midtown, Atlanta. The Best of the best of real underground Atlanta hip-hop went one after the next leading up to the nights main event of Buckshot, and then KRS One. The show featured a staggering amount of local and national artists from the past and present: including Senor Kaos, Punchline, Killer Mike, Goodie Mob’s Khujo, Sparky D, Nappy Roots, Kool DJ Red Alert, The Regime, Stacey Epps, Clan Destined, Ness Lee, Bobby Creekwater, Stat Quo, MC Shan, and many others.

There was a certain energy in the air unparallel to any hip-hop show I’ve witnessed. KRS freestyled on and off for at least a half an hour, talking about everything going on in the room!! In the midst of his set, he launched everyone into a massive cypher. A night to remember… Hip-Hop Lives & I’m just glad to be a part of it all.
