While the official video is being released later this week, the actual song is featured on his upcoming mixtape Leap Of Faith (A Prequal to God On A Greyhound). Shout out to Stephen Philms for the behind-the-lens work as usual.

On 7.17.2010 the High Off Life Fam was featured on 93.1 JackFM which broadcasts throughout North Georgia & Chattanooga. The homie Stephen Philms documented it all as we celebrated the release of our new video for “Writing On The Wall“. The actual show will air this Saturday (7.24.2010) & we will post it on the site. Shout out to Brent & Jason for having us. Check out the rest of the pics on the flipside.
Last month Phene took a trip back to Central PA with Director Stephen Philms to capture the visuals for “Writing On The Wall.” The song pays homage to his hometown & delivers an honest message about the trap society has inflicted upon us.
On July 2nd, we shot the music video for “Writing On The Wall“.. Phene & Atlanta director Stephen Philms took a trip up to York, PA to capture the hometown visuals to match the song. This was the beginning of an eventful weekend of filming for God On A Greyhound. More pictures on the flipside courtesy of Laurence Reed…
This past Wednesday (6.16.2010) I performed at Club Inferno in Atlanta for the I Keep It Classic Showcase. Shout out to Stephen Philms & the Pro-Art team, Ben Wagu & fam, the GA Tech football squad & my PA peoples for holding me down. The homie Escizzle over at E-Facts Blog took photos & did a review on the entire night of performances. Take a look at what he had to say…. HERE.
The homie Lucaz allowed me to jump on this remix of Curren$y’s “Lamborghini Dreams“. Do remember, new Phene album God On A Greyhound coming summer 2010.

This past weekend was eventful to say the least! I got up with Phene & DJ Dub Floyd and Tino Conquest to shoot a music for a song called “The Truth” which will be on Phene‘s upcoming project ‘God on a Greyhound’.
See more of what Stephen Philms had to say, plus more pics from the video shoot on the flipside!!!!
The homie Wally Sparks convinced me to post this back up!!!! I didn’t want to at first because of the mass Guru/Gangstarr tributes DJs are doing, which isn’t entirely wrong…. just wrong if you’ve never really repped or spun the music until now. I didn’t want to be looked at as an opportunist…. but this was done 2 years ago so i said eff it!!!! Just an Emcee & his DJ paying homage to one of the illest duos in Hip Hop…. Gangstarr (Guru & DJ Premier)!!!! We wanted to bring back the essence of the Emcee & DJ chemistry that once ruled Hip Hop years ago!!!! It was Memorial Day 08′, we were grillin -n- chillin and we decided to do this out of pure respect for the group!!!! The Gangstarr legacy lives on!!!!
