After doing a radio interview at 93.1FM in North Georgia, the High Off Life fam stopped by The Boiler Room, where Dub Floyd creates all of his magic!!!! While vibing to a collection of Pete Rock instrumentals, we made the most of the moment & filmed a tribute video directed by Stephen Philms!!!! Completely unscripted, fun hip-hop…. beats and rhymes!!!! This is the first of many visuals in the ‘Leap Of Faith/God On A Greyhound’ campaign!!!! Phene‘s ‘Leap Of Faith’ mixtape hosted by DJ Dub Floyd and DJ Wally Sparks coming soon, followed by ‘God On A Greyhound’ the album!!!! High Off Life Invades 93.1 JackFM (photos)
On 7.17.2010 the High Off Life Fam was featured on 93.1 JackFM which broadcasts throughout North Georgia & Chattanooga. The homie Stephen Philms documented it all as we celebrated the release of our new video for “Writing On The Wall“. The actual show will air this Saturday (7.24.2010) & we will post it on the site. Phene & Dub Floyd – 08′ Gangstarr (Paying Homage)
The homie Wally Sparks convinced me to post this back up!!!! I didn’t want to at first because of the mass Guru/Gangstarr tributes DJs are doing, which isn’t entirely wrong…. just wrong if you’ve never really repped or spun the music until now. I didn’t want to be looked at as an opportunist…. but this was done 2 years ago so i said eff it!!!! Just an Emcee & his DJ paying homage to one of the illest duos in Hip Hop…. Gangstarr (Guru & DJ Premier)!!!! We wanted to bring back the essence of the Emcee & DJ chemistry that once ruled Hip Hop years ago!!!! It was Memorial Day 08′, we were grillin -n- chillin and we decided to do this out of pure respect for the group!!!! The Gangstarr legacy lives on!!!!
