My homie Carl Jones producer/writer told me about this project some time ago. Adult Swim‘s The Return Of Freaknik is an ode to Atlanta’s Black Spring Break that was shut down some years back. T. Pain will play The Ghost of Spring Break, bringing life back to Freaknik…. alongside Lil’ Wayne as the voice of Jesus Christ… other guests include David Banner, Andy Samberg, and Rick Ross. Below is a promo video for the show that aired on Adult Swim’s Upfronts 2009!!!! The Return of Freaknik is set to air on March 21, 2010!!!
